Lace frame using a PaintShop Pro picture tube

I was playing around and experimenting with some tubes. I had a look at the Corel_10_051(X3_Fish Scales) tube and I thought that it could make something but wasn't sure what. I then used the VectorTube script by Gary Barton to run the tube along a rectangular path and I liked what I saw. I got a crocheted or woven like effect. I then used the following settings Scale - 17 Step - 35 and ran the tube along the rectangular path and got myself a very nice frame.

Cute Digital Buttons

Buttons, cute buttons, and who does not love them. Buttons are versatile and can be used in different ways in digital scrapbooking.

I created an interactive Corel PaintShop Pro script in which you can select a colour and it will create four different types of buttons.

For the buttons in the preview image I ran the script 3 times each time selecting a different colour. I then deleted some of the buttons.

You can even use patterns or gradients.

Some ways buttons can be used in digital scrapbooking are:

• Place at the centre of a bow- instead of tying knot, a button can be used.
• Place at the centre of a flower
• Use as an embellishment
• Use buttons to hang other embellishments
• Fasteners

First Ever Digital Papers Freebie

I love creating digital things. I have a copy of Corel Paintshop Pro which I use to distress. For me, creating lovely digital items is the best way to unwind. I was introduced to digital scrapbooking buy a friend years ago and I loved it and have been hooked ever since. I have created many layouts using other people's freebies and I then decided to start learning how to create my own digital scrapbooking items. I am still learning and I hope to use this blog to share my creations.
